    There are many times where we had to go out and honestly defend freedom.

    There are other times we just went out to kill people.

    I don't think it's necessary to blindly support our leaders for getting us into situations that we don't need to be in.

    Ok, then why does your party have such a tough time paying for the honor you speak of? Or even paying for wars?

    Yes, the democrats don't do it, either, but for a party that wears it's "patriotism" on their sleeves, you sure seem to think that having them stand and get cheered at sporting events is all that is required. Instead of fully funding and supporting the VA. It's shameful to me that there are ads on TV begging for money to support veterans.

    In other words, words are cheap. Really support them. REALLY.

    That's a pretty weak defense. It's a mixed bag, obviously, but I don't think we should slag them off when it's something me and most of the people on the board haven't done. If Kepler has been active duty that's one thing, but I doubt he has. Regardless of their socioeconomic status or intelligence we should appreciate their sacrifices.
