        No, this is ridiculous. In a democratic nation, a public protest by people like this needs a counter protest. It's easy to say "just ignore them" when you're not the group at risk, and you aren't living in that town.

        If these f-cks come to my town I'm bringing a bigger group to demonstrate that they are a tiny gang of mentally ill losers. I'm not giving them my town's streets. History shows that when these f-cks get the free run of a place they come back even stronger the next time. They are bullies and cowards; they have to be actively resisted now, before they have (even more of) the government behind them.

                          I'm not giving them a (physical) fight. I'm coming to counter-protest. I'm standing on the other side of the street. If they want to come looking for a fight they are going to have to provoke it and then they are going to jail. I'm only going to use force in self-defense. If I have enough true heroes with me, I won't even do that, and we'll let the world see these f-cks battering innocent people.

                          And then Trump will go on TV and say there are good and bad people on both sides, and you'll say "well if you hadn't been there then there would have been no injuries." And you'll honestly believe that.

                          I can't help you with that, it's something you're either going to get over someday, maybe when the maelstrom comes for you, or not. But we know that ignoring a disease doesn't cure the disease.
