      It's not just the military. Every time communities hold a spaghetti dinner, or charity auction, or start a Go Fundme account when some family's kid gets sick, or the mom gets the boobie cancer, is a disgrace. That these things are commonplace, practically routine, in this, the richest country in the world, is a joke.

        I wasnt arguing...I agree support was high. I was just adding the caveat that support was high despite there being zero evidence.

        I remember being here in the Cafe back then...every time a story came out about finding some random link that MAY be a link to Al-Qaida (which of course turned out to be BS) the Righties on the board would go "SEE!! We told you! There is your link!!!1!". After the fifth or sixth time all of a sudden it stopped being about WMDs and was about some other BS. Then they forgot all about Bin Laden just like Dubya did

          Or they would brag about finding WMDs from the 80s. We knew Iraq had those, I mean, we still have the receipts.

            THIS!! Those who have chronic needs that no go-fund-me page or spag supper is going to cover and how many times can you beg before people get compassion fatigue? Esp for medical stuff. Anyone tries to say we should fix it and they are a !!1!11! socialist!11!11!! and OMG look at all those Canadians who have to wait- like we don't have people chronically waiting or not getting treated and dying. This makes me wild.

                                I had the honor to shake Bill Clinton's hand. I do mean the honor. He was the president of my country. Despite any dislike or like or whatever, respect the president.
