    It's funny you should say this. I've driven extremely long distances through about 90% of the country, and driving through GA and SC was probably the most boring driving I have ever done. It's just you and the semis and fast food exits. There is nothing else in those states.

    In Flatland (KS, NE) the very flatness of the landscape is so alien it's not monotonous (if you're visiting -- if you live there it must be hell). Plus in KS the wind gusts are insane so you spend all your time fighting to keep your car on the highway. And there are a thousand sleazy strip club and porn store signs to amuse you because, you know, The Moral Heartland.

    Boring *** state to drive through too. Might as well be Iowa.

    After a while I always get to the point where I'd kill to see a hill or even a small rise that isn't a garbage dump.
