Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Amen to that. I honestly couldnt care less if he comes back. If he wants to come back and does, great. If he doesnt, oh well, he had a great career.

Exactly...I never got why if everyone thinks he is an egomaniac they fed into it. Just ignore him and let the chips fall where they may. If he wants to come back great, if not fine. I am going to watch the games either way

Heard on the radio news as I was coming home that there will be a BrettFavre ad during the Super Bowl. It will be BrettFavre at age 50 contemplating retirement. The ad is for Hyundai.

Well, they say that drugs will take off the years, and he had a good run with them for a while, so it stands to reason...

AP Source: Favre Tells Vikings He Will Not Return

A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that Brett Favre has informed the Vikings he will not return to Minnesota for a second season.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity Tuesday because the team had not made an official announcement. The person says the 40-year-old Favre called coach Brad Childress to say his injured ankle is not responding as well to surgery and rehabilitation as he had hoped.

Favre also told the Vikings last year he wouldn't play for them but ultimately changed his mind and joined the team immediately after it broke training camp.

Favre injured his ankle in the NFC championship, which the Vikings lost to the New Orleans Saints.
