That's a bummer. Even though these prequels could have been tightened up a bit (better character development etc)they've offered An opportunity to answer some great philosophical questions within that universe.

I hope THIS comes to fruition: http://www.alien-covenant.com/news/amp/alien-awakening---ridley-scott-confirms-engineers-return-alien-covenant-sequel

I hope Ridley Scott gets a 3rd prequel in because he has in no way answered who the engineers are nor where they come from and whether they created humans. Also hasn't answered why they created Aliens or IF they actually did create them.

Fassbender as David is finally a villain I can really hate. What a great character. He's like Kathy bates in misery x100.

Nowadays instead of dancing we have explosions and car chases.
Here's the full Nicholas Brothers number jumping / splits on the staircase with Cab Calloway. It's incredible. The opening 1:30 is Calloway's scat singing, then the remainder of the clip is the brothers gradually taking over and then only doing the greatest flash dancing in film history.

Remarkably, the brothers are in their 30s in that WW2 clip and they both lived into this century.

Ugh, considering the Daniel Craig Bond is still hung up on Vesper Lynd from Casino Royale, as that love tragedy has spread across Quantum of Solace and Spectre. I am hoping Bond 25 neatly ties up Daniel Craig's story arc while leaving enough to pass along to the next guy (like, let Blofeld live to battle the next Bond).

And interesting they would take the (simplified) theme from OHMSS when they already did more than just a wink and a nod to it throughout Spectre.

Maybe I was expecting a little more "Layer Cake" and a lot less "I Dreamed of Africa."
