AMC is running Thursday Night Horror movies this month.

One of my childhood favorites "The Giant Behemoth" is on the playbill for this Thursday.

And in a twist, it's London that gets trashed, not Tokyo or LA.

Here's a neat little link for Marvel movie fans: Hail-Hydra.com.

        A Patch Of Fog:
A security guard catches a famous writer/television host shoplifting and blackmails him into becoming friends.

Heck of a psychological thriller. Still have mixed feelings about the ending, but I didn't hate the ending. It had more quality than not. Definitely recommend.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

There's another one where the city that gets trashed is Mexico City. And one where it's Copenhagen (?).

I'm watching the George Stevens film. Raw images from the camps. If you are upset over the sight of dead/burned bodies, skip it.

On the other hand, it should be shown to every HS senior class in the country.

That's how I felt about the movie "Kids." Every high schooler should see it, but I would not recommend it to anyone. Very disturbing, especially one of those last scenes....

I remember next to nothing of that movie other than everything those kids did was wrong, even when they thought everything was perfect. And there was an STD involved.

The scene I'm talking about (text only, but whited out): it was a kid raping another while she was passed out.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I do recall that portion. It wasn't an uplifting movie, to be sure.

That ranks up there with the final scene of the director's cut of Requiem For A Dream, another movie I never want to see again, although it was a fantastic movie.

I have a knack for remembering completely trivial things. Your first name? Five meetings, probably. Minimum. A certain obscure line in some indie movie I saw 5 years ago? Nail it.

My brain is also like that. Algebra? Naw man, forget that. Song lyrics? Got em right here!

And for some odd reason, I'm in the mood to see Requiem again. I'll probably regret that.
