    You are 100% correct. No merchant ever takes into account the local sales tax when calculating a retail price on a product. The price is driven by competition. Let's not forget that the Internet is tax free with the exception if the company has an operation in your state. If they do, a store or warehouse, then you pay your local tax.

                No. Seriously. If Trump gets roasted at the dinner, by the end of the night the Washington D.C. Hilton will look like 1960's Birmingham, Alabama.

                  I still think Detroit is a stronghold. 2016 was an anomaly triggered by disillusion re: Hillary.

                      He's going to do the same thing on immigration. He'll implement the same deportation policies as Obama (deporting those with criminal records) and then claim he's some sort of bad @ ss for doing so. He'll also find out how much money Mexicans spend to get their tourist visas or whatever and claim that's the money Mexico is giving us to build the wall. Sheep like media will eat it up.

                          Worse yet, he could do absolutely nothing but reimplement all of Obama's policies. He'll claim he fixed it all and his stupid zealot followers will believe it because there's no way some blackie could have accomplished this. Him and that stupid ape in heels.

                          We will all miss Obama over the next four years. Having a dignified family occupying the White House is something we take for granted.

                            That would actually be the best case. I care much less about which blowhard claims credit, than about the survival of the nation. But I can't imagine he would be so sensible.
