If you're telling men that women have value and you can't just rape them, you are demoralizing them.

The fact this stuff resonates is all the proof one needs that the average boob is hopelessly stupid and sexist. THIS is why Critical Theory should be taught in schools (it isn't).

Maybe I just don't get it. I watched my mom wear so many of the hats growing up - working for my dad's nonprofit, being a mother, playing therapist, playing spiritual advisor, being a housewife and cook, basically going along with 80-90% of whatever my dad wanted - and I have decided that I don't want much of any of that in a wife. My fiance got the ring because while we share similar values (though she is further left than me and has crazy ideas sometimes), we are different people. She is messy, I'm neat(er); she is the extroverted life of any social event, I'm an introverted wallflower; she is sort of zany, I'm practical; she's laidbackand hates planning, I'm more driven; she is creative, I've got the artistic & style sense of an engineer; she is generally kind to others (unless they've wronged her), I have Resting Polish Face and I tend to be a dick.

Basically, I see her as someone who compliments and smooths over the worst parts of my personality (and vice versa). I also see her as a check on me and not a pushover who will go along with whatever I want. A lot of men don't care about or want either of those things. They just want a pretty face to crank out sons and put meals on the table for them. And as odd as it seems, that's all some women want as well. You could try to pin it on the religious brainwashing that starts at a young age, it certainly doesn't help matters, but I don't think that explains all of it.

Dearborn schools cave to pearl-clutching parents, remove "controversial" books including four with LGBTQ themes.

The availability of material in school libraries should not "reflect the values of the community" - the public, by and large, are ill-informed and hyperreactive morons. It should reflect the values of delivering access to information and a well-rounded education that is appropriate for a student's age level. Based on the content descriptions, these books shouldn't be in the elementary school collection, but I'm going to say it's likely there's no reason they shouldn't be available to high schoolers.

hubby and I haven't watched Maher for awhile now. After watching that, I'm glad we stopped 'cause that just ****ed me off.

If you want a relationship, Tinder isn't where to look. There are other online dating options that are more geared towards relationships. Men on tinder 2 to 1...I wonder what the ratio is on a site like eharmony.

I especially enjoy when the guy is a 5 living in his parents' basement wondering why they can't get a girl that's an 8. You want women to lower their standards, maybe you gotta lower yours too.

Too much to unpack from that clip and the comments from mostly men agreeing with it. Would have enjoyed hearing a female viewpoint on that panel.

Poor men being treated equal to, rather than superior to women. What choice do they have but to be violent? Explain how women managed being treated as inferior for all these years without shooting up schools.

The thing too is the derp confidently opining on sexual mores and gender psychology is in marketing. I know when I want opinions on climate science I go to the local weatherman. It's the equivalent of Congressional hearings with actors as key speakers.

Maher became unwatchable for my wife and I after Dump left office because then he began his relentless campaign of telling everyone on the Left how to behave, how to protest, and how to be effective, from the POV of a rich Hollywood perma-child. He operates from the perspective of an old liberal who still thinks the world works the way he thought it did from his dorm room in 1978. He is as irrelevant to today's world as Hobey Baker was to the 1960s.

We need to flush all these Olds down the plumbing. I know my age cohort, and I don't want any of them attempting to become thought leaders to younger people. You folks are on the right track, ignore us and please just make our deaths swift and painless.
