If they are such scum, what has kept them out of the ladies room for the last 150 years? Allowing trans women in does not change a single thing about what behavior is acceptable for heterosexual men.
Consider the absolute certainty of an straight man deciding that he indentifies as a woman on a given day, and ergo is free to hang out in in the ladies' at the Y..?
If you don't believe that will happen, you are beyond naive.
Trans people won't be the problem, grasshopper, it'll be the straight men every effing time.
You really need to get out in the world a little more. Facts is facts.

How can a non-Islamic legal code protect polygamy for men but not for women? "Traditional family values"? What would be the actual legal standard?Last edited by Kepler; 06-28-2021, 10:12 AM.Cornell University

Since people keep quoting the derp: how can one justify persecuting a sincere group (trans women) because of what a hypothesized criminal group (straight men posing as trans women to molest girls) might do?
This is "you can't allow people to drive cars because renegade children might drive cars illegally." It's that stupid.
We do not deny people their basic human rights because unscrupulous others hatched from our imagination might take try to take advantage of those rights.
The only reason the derp even considers this a valid argument is because he doesn't see trans people as human, so abridgment of their rights is no biggie (c.f., abortion). I do not why you engage with him. He is obviously a spiteful, cowardly bigot. When you extend him even the courtesy of debate you invite him to poison this forum, and you are dehumanizing not just the trans people of the forum but all of us.
This person is unworthy of your time or even your acknowledgement. His fear and hatred are exactly what has driven the bigotry of all ages. Shut him down by shutting him off. I'm begging you.Last edited by Kepler; 06-28-2021, 10:14 AM.Cornell University

FYI: today is the 42nd anniversary of Stonewall. A day where we said enough of this **** and caused the cops to run and the state to pay attention.
If this anti-trans legislation continues, there will be another uprising that will make Stonewall look like nothing in comparison.Facebook: bcowles920 Instagram: missthundercat01

Also, I've been out in some form since 2002.
I've lived through the gay marriage hysterics, the push to end unfair employment and housing practices for us, bathroom bills, and more.
In all those cases, those opposed to equal access, rights, and privilege for the Alphabet promised an Earth-shattering kaboom if access was granted.
Well, it is 2021. Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering kaboom.Facebook: bcowles920 Instagram: missthundercat01
