I think LSU has been pretty good. It's just been a lot of Texas teams, SEC teams and some Carolina teams, primarily, with a couple of outliers like Louisville and some smaller schools mixed in.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

I work with a guy who was recruited by those teams but decided to stay local for a GF who then immediately broke up with him. Dude hit like .600 for his D-2 college team but never looked back. I used to play catch with him in the parking lot and it was an absolute pleasure. He had the best arm I've ever seen and he was a first baseman! He could finesse throws like dialing a rheostat. And no matter how crappy I threw to him he never let a ball past.

I think if I was told that I'd never get to see another live sporting event other than the Frozen Four and CWS, I'd be perfectly happy with that. They are the rare events that we get right in spite of the NCAA.

I think college hockey is so wonderful not even those ****s can screw it up, but I am *very* wary of the Derp Schools getting into it. The B1G is bad enough, I do not need to see the SEC or Pac2n ever get involved.

Never underestimate the NCAA: They could screw up a three-car parade.

            • What, did the NCAA call Covid-19 "hysteria" and then run away for 6 months?

                    • Florida: not only a ban, but giving anyone they suspect of being the ""wrong" gender a genital exam.

Just when you think it can't get worse, another state yells "hold my beer."

How does this not constitute an unreasonable search? Particularly for college athletes.

                              • I'm just tired. Of all this. Existence shouldn't be up for debate.
