Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

              Sunday is International Women's Day.
Apparently we were supposed to wear purple to work today, because 'raising awareness' or wearing a certain color is super effective.

My previous boss divorced about 2 years ago. He used Tinder and said that people used it for both, but that most people made it clear if they were looking for something serious. He was not and from what I saw from him was very successful at it.

Tinder and Bumble work if you are either very attractive, or willing to lower your standards. Since most people consider themselves to meet the standards for the former , they refuse to do the latter.

Got a message on OK Cupid that said "bright smile, nice frame." I rejected him awfully quick.

And as part of my supportive work environment, I told my one of my supervisors the awful things my stepfather has said. She flat out gave me a hug and told me whenever I needed one, all I had to do was ask.

People are fighting the Nazis in Missouri.

Hundreds of protestors descended on the Missouri state capitol over the weekend to protest a Republican bill that could imprison librarians who host a drag queen story hour or allow youth to check out books on LGBTQ topics.
The phobes are dying and trying to cause a maximum of misery before they do. You know, for Jesus.

I really wish I had been born a hundred years later (racists and phobes dead, sexists dying out, Keith Richards new tour, flying cars, Workers' Paradise, another Cornell title) but watching them thrash in the jaws of History is actually pretty funny too.

The cultural excretion of human garbage is ennobling in a weird way.

The one with law degrees would be even more insane. It went from 200:1 to 1:1 between 1960 and 2000.

And we wonder why the Olds (of both genders) are sexists.

                            This doesn't hurt, either:

                            The orcs are dying. Sloooooooooooooowly.

It's a 2000-year old superstition, whaddya want, instant results?

Look at Europe, we'll get there. We're finally growing up. Not the Proles, they'll always need it as the solace of wage slaves. But everybody else. The Eastern Mystery Cult has just about run its course. And all it took was 100 years of universal literacy, go figure.
