Its the same with Michigan and similar with Pennsylvania. (overall Drumpf had less votes than Romney did) Those states screwed the country because they wanted to prove a point. That is why people like Scooby are ****ed because we all have to suffer because they wanted to say "F You".

Hogwash, healthcare costs have been rising faster than inflation since the 70s. Even if Obama had not been elected, health insurance cost still would have dramatically increased in the last 8 years because the increase in the underlying health care costs have only accelerated.

The truth. Everybody knew health care costs were increasing faster than people could afford to pay since prior to the first Clinton term, that's why this administration tried to address it. By the time Obama came along, it was not a question of whether the system needed to change but how.

Yes but they made the mistake of calling and selling their plan as the Affordable care act and its been anything but affordable. The grass is always greener even if its not

Anyone can make a right choice if it's easy. But when forced to prioritize, they Just Didn't Care.

Here's a good one for the Just Don't Cares out there. Bill Cosby's lawyer filed a court motion yesterday that said, in part, once he settles his cases, "...he expects to resume his career, and there is no reason to believe otherwise." I'm not sure I can disagree with that.

When half the country is doing everything they can to make this effort fail, it's not surprising that it did.

Next time we have health care reform, it will be for the public option, and the losers will be the heath insurers, drug developers, and health care providers. Because that's what will come eventually unless the Republicans in congress pull a magic rabbit out of their ***, particularly if they manage to blow up Medicare.

Of course it will be 25 years before any politician is willing to take the risk of touching health insurance reform.

Maybe...if Warren and Bernie are able to take the Dems Left (instead of Clintonista Center) They would go after it...especially if the GOP is able to blow everything up and screw up Medicare. (which they will) If the GOP goes pragmatic and does what Donald is saying then yeah it will sputter along for a while.

Taking the long view...as long as we can keep the youth engaged (you know all those HSers walking out of class over Donald) then the chances are good that things can reverse in 4 years. Despite Scooby's gloom and doom the truth is it wasnt some Red Wave that happened, it was people staying home. The Dems need to embrace the youth that supports them and go Left. If there is ever a chance that a true Progressive Candidate can win it will be if things go as we all assume they will under 4 years of The Donald. Someone like Bernie...only an actual member of the party.

Bull. The industry itself is 99% responsible.

Agreed. I think he also was a bit happy to have to stop pretending to really like Hillary. He is a lot like me and doesnt like the way the Clintons control the Dems and how they court Wall Street and the middle to the detriment of the Left. He also realizes that it isnt over it is time to just rebuild.

The Red Neck Liberal guy had a lot of interesting things to say as well that I think the Dems need to take to heart. Some of the panel didnt like it but he is right.

As you said Friedman was great as were Axelrod and Holder.

Watching the protest that was in LA today...thousands of people walking down Wilshire Blvd holding signs and chanting, not causing any problems. It was pretty awesome to see. The feed I watched suggested it might have been close to 10k people!
