  • No WCoH Thread?

This place doesn't have a World Cup of Hockey thread going?

What, we won't acknowledge it until the NCAA allows "Team NCAA" in the tourney?

CAN/USA tonight is going to be a lot of fun ... for the Canadians, as they stick a fork in US. The only hope for the US is a slog-battle 1-0 win. I heard a stat that the USA hasn't scored on CAN in like 190 minutes of play at this (WCoH, Olympic) level.

People have been discussing it in the NHL thread.
"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." George Orwell, 1984

"One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its Black Gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume." Boromir

"Good news! We have a delivery." Professor Farnsworth

I just thought no one cared about made up world teams.

If Canada doesn't win they'll downplay it as an unimportant exhibition tournament. If they win, it's the most important tourney they play in.
