          We just see the dopes more now because they can intrude into our lives. It used to be after high school we never saw them again. Now they're in Comment streams (and Congress).

            Sure, they have always been around...

            But currently because everyone is so connected, the DERPS are just in a more concentrated form now.

            That is the difference between 2020 and 1980.

            Back then Hillbilly Joe from Backwoods, Arkansas was able to keep his thoughts about the Civil War just being at "halftime" limited to just the town folk he saw daily/weekly... Now he can broadcast that and connect with Backwoods Bill in Sister's Taint, Georgia and form an alliance.

                        I’m reading “The Bomber Mafia” on a recommendation. It’s amazing how Curtis Emerson LeMay is idolized by so many…I’m attributing this to a general lack of knowledge about LeMay vs Kennedy (actually advocating we conduct a preemptive nuclear strike on USSR) and LeMay’s role in drafting Operation Northwoods.
