Not quite. You have to submit your resignation at 75, but the Pope does not have to accept it. Case in point, DC's Cardinal Wuerl hit 75 last November. Not a blip.
Right there in the Constitution; that part about elections and stuff.
But as SCOTUS pointed out, if Congress wanted term limits on itself, it needs an amendment. While the odds of it gathering the necessary states to pass are good, it is unlikely that the amendment will garner 2/3 in both Houses.

I'm against term limits for reasons I've gone into several times before.
My point is the people can always term limit anybody they want.
