Silver medalist in the Olympic marathon got busted for EPO as well. Test came after the Olympics, so she'll keep her medal.

When an elite gets banned, I wonder what that all entails.
Edit: it looks like she can still race for fun, but she's done representing Kenya.Last edited by MissThundercat; 11-11-2017, 12:35 PM.

Is it like so-called "designer" drugs, where some shady chemists just tweak the formula / molecular structure of a banned PED, and suddenly it doesn't show up on tests anymore until the governing bodies catch on, and update the tests?
There are athletes, such as America's Shalane Flanagan, that are pushing for more comprehensive testing, so we can catch the frauds right away.

LA and Paris will now scramble to be the last city to withdraw, thus sticking the other one with the grotesque bill.

Originally posted by FadeToBlack&Gold View PostI've heard it's started to get a substantial tourism influx in the last 5 years, but is still nowhere near as bad on crowds and rising prices as, say, Prague. The Olympics hype would very quickly change that in a big way. Too much too soon, and at too great of a cost for the citizens, I would think.
