Professional scumbag pays effectively nothing for attempting to ruin the lives of thousands of women.

        http://motherboard.vice.com/read/hun...in-restitution
On Wednesday, revenge porn site operator Hunter Moore was sentenced to two and a half years in federal prison. He will also be paying a $2,000 fine, and on top of that, a bizarrely specific $145.70 in restitution.

          Big surprise.

Twitter has suspended George Zimmerman's social media account after inappropriate photos appeared on his page Thursday.

"This is Heather. She cheated on me with a dirty Muslim," read one tweet from Zimmerman's account. Her phone number followed the post with a topless photo.

Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Hate Radio lionized him. I'm amazed he doesn't have a Fox show already, but maybe this will get him one.

I was a defender of his actions, however, (and I'm assuming here) I think I was with the majority thinking he was a scumbag.

Have his subsequent actions changed your opinion of his original incident? I have to say, I thought he was a murderer then, and everything he has done since has only deepened my opinion.

I have to treat the case as it was presented, using those facts only. I try to not let outside prejudices influence my views. Sometimes I fail at that, sometimes I succeed. You know?

I understand, but I think we had to make certain assumptions in the original case, and later evidence as to behavior and judgment absolutely colors my subsequent opinion. I am obviously not in favor of ever retrying a case, and I don't believe subsequent evidence should ever be used to tell someone "you should have known better," but, for example, I actually thought Armstrong was clean at first and that the Euros were slandering him. Subsequently I understood, nah, he was cheating all along.

And if Armstrong came back and was accused of doping again, I'd hope that I could put aside his history, and judge on the new case in a separate manner. I do understand what you are saying, though, and it's all good.

Edit: I also thought Lance was clean for all that time and LeMond was a bitter jealous man. I cannot apologize enough for that mis-characterization, especially after having met Mr LeMond.

I don't need post-case information to tell me Zimmerman was guilty, there was enough real time to convince me of that. That was an OJ case all over again.

Not sure how you could ever defend that a hole. He follows the guy and engages him, playing cop when the cops told him not too. If you had some creep following you around you probably wouldn't react well. But he shot a brown person so it must be justified.

Stand your ground is a bad law, especially if it can be applied to Zimmerman. It basically gives you the right to escalate any situation into a guns drawn scenario where you have the right to shoot first.

He had all the gun nuts behind him. And the NRA. I actually know people that hope to be victims of crime so they get to be a bad *** gun owner and shoot someone.

Once I was living at a place, and a barfight broke out in my driveway. Damaged my roomate's vehicle. Police were involved, etc. Asked the cop about actions we could have taken, and he said, "Off the record, if you feel threatened, you do what you need to do." It's a good law in theory, but with all the legalese and exceptions and PR....well......

That being said, the law is the law, like it or not.
