Disagree. There was a time in the mid 2000s that their bullpen was as dominant as the 2015 Royals. Plus we've also had Santana and Liriano duking it out for the Cy young before Liriano's arm blew up.

you can disagree. It doesn't change the fact that our pitching is going to continue to suck if we keep buying veteran 4th starters at inflated prices.

We need our minors to pay off like it has started to with position players.

        Come on Twins!

Indians, Tigers, Rangers, Orioles, Padres have been ruled out so far.
wow, I didn't expect it to actually be the Twins. Let's get him signed!

I agree. The solution to the Twins pitching problem, at least starting pitching, is in house. Go young, and wait for them to blossom.

          Santana
          Gibson
          Berrios
          Duffy
          Hughes
          May
          Milone

Best 5 out of 7 make the opening day rotation. There will be injuries, so they'll need all of these guys.

Get 1 or 2 more arms for the pen.

          Closer: Jepsen
          8th: New Guy (Plouffe trade?)
          7th: Perkins/Meyer
Specialty LH Reliever: New Guy (FA?)
          Other and Long Relief: Nolasco

That's 13, not sure how many they'll keep.
Having a clear conscience just means you have a bad memory or you had a boring weekend.

          RIP - Kirby

Just below the knee, but yeah. I'm obviously way too young to have seen him play, but he's always been around the Cardinals and it sucks to see that happen. That said, when I first saw the notification on my phone, I thought he'd died, so I suppose this is preferable. Hopefully the team helps take care of him and his family if they need it.

Unbelievable. If Lavelle E. Neal, a beat writer for the Twins, had voted for Sano for ROTY, Sano would have won it.

I think you miscalculated. Sano had 20 total points in the voting. The winner had 124. I don't think Neal's 1 vote is worth over 100 pts.

I think dx needs to include a graph to demonstrate the voting to us.

Huh. I had heard it on the Fan. I must have tuned in late and not realized it was a bit.
