    I was also a latecomer to RATM in that while I liked hearing their music I didn't start buying their releases until about 5 years. Similarly with Soundgarden although I jumped in a bit sooner - perhaps about 10 years ago. Love then both now and have nearly everything they've released.

        Morello is a fascinating person in general, but his guitar "tricks" demos are incredible.

          1,000 musicians in Italy play Foo Fighter's Learning to Fly

          Just pure joy. Gave me goosebumps and made me smile even if the speech at the end was annoying.

              Just finished Simple Minds - Live in the City of Lights

              Haven't listened to this in several years and remember having cassettes of this.

              Really good live album and representative of their height in popularity. Wish I had seen this tour.

                      I couldn't do every song that fit.

                      As for the Smiths I have regular cravings for the same records. I have similar needs monthly for R.E.M., The Cure and The Replacements among others.

                            Amazing. I don't know why this doesn't just sound like noise. I suspect only a few of them are mic'ed.

                                OK, so I lumped these guys in with Arcade Fire and Arctic Monkeys and all that, but, no, this is very good.

                                But Columbia still doesn't have hockey.
