So, this craptacular Hawk's team can't make an appearance against the Wild? You have the best center and forward in the NHL. Play like it.

        Bolts get home ice back.

How does it feel losing to a goalie on 1 good leg?

          Fixed.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Another very entertaining game tonight. Thought Hawks were a bit of the better team but the Bolts converted one more time late with Paquette getting the game winner with around 3 minutes to go. Hossa missed a completely wide open net in the first while being tripped and I said that will haunt them. I was hoping to be wrong. Game 3 Wednesday night.

Still wouldn't be as much of a drama queen as Bishop has been.

Tell the Hawks to score more goals on the "drama queen" that can't control his bowels.

Wouldn't know, that wasn't the feeling tonight.

Have my doubts about the nature and extent of the "injury." The Bolts are playing the mind game on this pretty well, aided and abetted by non-stop NBC commentary indicating he's all but crippled. But to my eye Bishop actually got a little stronger as the game went on.

What doesn't feel good is playing a decent game, but losing to a team that appears to be hungrier; and more able to pounce on momentary lapses. The Callahan goal came off a home run pass. Giving up a goal immediately after scoring speaks for itself. Again.

These Hawks have shown they play their best when their backs are against the wall. Regrettably they have yet another opportunity to live up to that reputation.

Time for Sharp to sit. The clincher was when he gave up the middle on the rush that resulted in the winning goal.

Time for Kane to show up. Hossa and Saad were the two best Hawks last night. By a lot.

Having said all that, I think this team thrives on having their backs against the wall. I expect tomorrow's 19 shot period effort to result in 3 goals. (That was the killer last night. Only getting 1 in the first.)

Tampa is one of the few teams that can match their depth.
