At the time Dallas was up 24-0 late in the 4th and got sacked trying to pass. And I never heard anyone whine about NYG pouring it on in 41-0.

Well, I mean, that game was 34-0 at halftime, and I don't think anyone expects a team to dial back the offense in the first half. And the last TD was way early in the third quarter after the Giants recovered a fumble at the Minnesota 29. The Giants didn't score in the last 27 minutes of the game, the Vikings were just THAT BAD in the first half.

And I'll say it again: that game might be the most fun I've ever had at a sporting event.

It's why I am rooting for the Jets. If the Colts hadn't raised the white flag, the Jets couldn't even make the playoffs. For the integrity of the league I would like to see karma hit the Colts in the junk.

I have zero love for the Colts, but I'm pulling for them to win. A Saints-Colts Superbowl would, I think, be by far the most entertaining matchup possible for a fan of none of the above.

Watching the Saints beat the Colts is the best possible outcome left.

Yeah, because that was Manning's decision.

Also, I think the Jets still had to beat Cincy (who really did roll over and play dead) to make the playoffs. Not to mention the fact that a number of teams choked away chances to push the Jets further out of the playoff picture heading into that Week 16 Colts game.

But, by all means, keep crying and blaming the Colts. It's so endearing - you sound like a Pats fan!

Great to see Turner re-signed, though. Nothing better than being awesome in the regular season, and run out of the playoffs! Y'know, Rivers best playoff performance may have been that year he played injured. Maybe Cable would be a better choice of a coach...

I'm not blaming the Colts. I would like to see them get their comeuppance for losing a winnable game to the Jets by pulling their starters on offense in the third quarter.

OK, you're not upset about it simply because the Jets whooped on the Chargers. Instead, you think it's an "integrity of the game" issue, which is bull*, unless you can prove to me they did that to LET the Jets win.

It's Caldwell's perrogative to pull his starters whenever the heck he feels like it. They had the lead, and yeah, he probably underestimated the Jets. Oops. Still were the #1 seed; still had all their players healthy.

Now, I may be wrong (and lord knows, you'll probably tell me that I am), but I have to think that if the Bengals had won last week and then beat the Chargers, or the Chargers had won this week, you would't be in such an uproar over the Colts losing that game (which, again, didn't clinch the playoff berth for the Jets; I don't think it even merely "kept them alive" - I'm pretty sure earlier results that day had them very much alive, and beating the Colts simply kept them in control of their own destiny). Hey, I can understand about seeing your team knocked out by a team you dislike, but it simply seems as though your anger is misdirected.

You also apparently missed my point about the players, in that it wasn't their choice, yet you seem hellbent on "punishing" them.

Colts-Saints: The consensus best teams from each league go at it, the only teams to both go 13-0 to start the season in the same year.

Colts-Vikings: Showdown between two of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.

Jets-Saints: #1 defense faces the #1 offense.
