It was a while ago, and then something else happened to the foot related to the original injury. Stress fracture or something. Not enough to keep him out, but it does affect his play a little.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

He was my FFL backup. If he didn't get hurt, I bet I coulda traded him.

The Giants in that Super Bowl shut down the Patriots offense which was annihilating everyone in the league and they punished Tom Brady play after play. Notice that, their defense did the hard work.

This year's Giants defense was f-cking putrid and the 5-0 start was nothing to write home about considering everyone they beat to start the year sucked something fierce this season.

The Giants offense wasn't the problem this year, their defense was. Five or six games this year they allowed 35+ points. No one is winning anything with a defense that porous and tying this team to a team that TWO YEARS AGO won the Super Bowl is unbelievably ********.
I'm curious as to what happened, since Tom Coughlin is supposed to be a defense-first kinda guy. Did the loss of Strahan really hurt that much?

Umenyiora was useless this year, Tuck has been playing with a torn labrum since the last Dallas game and Spags is the coach of the Rams now. Sheridan being the defensive coordinator and changing things up a bit has somehow really hurt this team.

I can't imagine after the embarrassment of the last two games that there won't be some changes in the offseason. It's been a long time since I've seen a team dominated in that fashion in every aspect of the game.

Today wasn't the first game this season where that's happened to the Giants. Something will give.

New Orleans hasn't been playing all that well recently. I think GB has a good shot of going in there and getting a win. that is, of course, assuming both Dallas and GB win next weekend.

San Diego has no running game and a bad running defense. If they win it all it will be a surprise for me. In fact, they might lose their first playoff game against the Patriots.

New Orleans has their own worries: they've really shat the bed the last few weeks.

I have a weird feeling that PHI upsets DAL and that would put GB @ MIN which I think hurts MN having to beat them a 3rd time.

I also don't put a lot of stock in the recent NO losses since their starters played only half of the last 2 games. PHI @ NO would be a good game, but I feel like NO has enough to win that.

Possibly setting up a GB @ NO NFC Title game.

AFC seems pretty wide open for the first round. I could see any of those 4 teams advancing.

Likely to be NE and CIN moving on. With the assumption that CIN gets its players like Benson back to play.

Which I think puts NE @ IND and CIN @ SD.

NE/IND is another toss up, and should be a battle. I think SD just has a really easy road to the SB this time around. 11 wins in a row has to count for something as well.
