Maybe I read the article wrong, but it sounds like the bill only bans a specific procedure, with a "life of the mother" exception...

Actually sounds like a reasonable proposal to me. YMMV.

    Incest.

Fu**ing your sister and making her pregnant means she has to keep your inbred spawn child alive for nine months.

    Way to go Alabama.

But yet, it's no problem to pull the plug on older people even though they have a heartbeat.

I love State Republicans on this: "we understand if a woman has medical issues during pregnancy, BUT THE BAYBEEZ!!!!!!!!"

    Isn't it great?

"Science" is for Nazi Marxist Commie Muzzie Wiccan Fascists! Except when our PACs pay for questionable studies that agree with our positions.

One thing I think we should do as a society is do a better job of getting out there the info that roughly 25% of pregnancies result in miscarriage. If you've got 4 kids, and you didn't have a miscarriage, you beat the odds. A woman (or a man, for that matter) feeling like a miscarriage is her fault is frankly tragic, and it's kind of avoidable.

Yes, that’s fair. I used women as it appears sperm donors aren’t being targeted with these new laws

    And women too, evidently.

Ideologies make smart people stupid and stupid people vicious.

Throwing her in jail would certainly validate that point of view.

It's worse than that; if the mother expected a live birth, that's a dead child, a dead baby. (There's the worst psychological damage.)
