Today? Perhaps there will be a nutty Islamist cult who gets ahold of and fires a nuke "in the name of Allah". I don't think it's likely though.
Closest was actually when we did drop a nuclear bomb on North Carolina

That letter the 47 traitors sent to Iran? It was just a joke!

Republican aides were taken aback by what they thought was a light-hearted attempt to signal to Iran and the public that Congress should have a role in the ongoing nuclear discussions. Two GOP aides separately described their letter as a “cheeky” reminder of the Congressional branch’s prerogatives.

“The administration has no sense of humor when it comes to how weakly they have been handling these negotiations,” said a top GOP Senate aide.
Right. Other Tories apprently didn't get the joke either.

“I immediately knew that it was not something that, for me anyway, in my particular role, was going to be constructive,” Corker said. “I didn’t realize until this weekend that it had the kind of momentum that it had.”

Sen. Jeff Flake was another Republican who declined to sign the letter, telling reporters Tuesday that there was already “a lot of animosity” between Congress and the White House, and that the Iranian nuclear threat was “too important to divide us among partisan lines.”

“I just didn’t feel that it was appropriate or productive at this point. These are tough enough negotiations as it stands, and introducing this kind of letter, I didn’t think would be helpful,” Flake said.

Too bad Fox Opinions Channel fans won't ever catch on to this way of thinking.

Another good quote from the article:

Right, because when I think of talks with Iran light-hearted and cheeky come to the forefront. People want to accuse the President of dividing this country, ignoring the fact that the GOP, certain posters here and their ilk have acted like spoiled, self-entitled a-holes since the day he first took office doing everything they can to prevent workable solutions for the country. The comments made at Gov. Haley's Facebook page would fit right in here were there not a moderator.

The last time this country was this divided, there was a war between the states. Is the President to blame? Only partially, on account of race baiting and communist policy. Some members of Congress, who are adept at the history of the world, know that these communist policies have been tried in many other nations of our scale only to be met with failure (USSR, Napoleonic Europe, Ancient Rome, to name a few), yet insane people are still willing to try it again expecting a different result. Fascist ilk, such as Pelosi, Feinstein, Clinton, Böhner, McCain, and the list goes on, are also to blame for shoving this oligarchial BS down our throats and getting away from the true message of this country. You could take every single clause of the Declaration of Independence and see it apply to the actions of all branches the government (whether federal, state, or local) within the last 30 years.

So, now Barack Obama (who sits to the right of Bush II) on many issues is a communist? And he got communist policies through the government?

Tell me what Communistic government would EVER EVER EVER pass a health care plan that has most of it's money going to capitalistic entities (The Insurance Industry)?

I'll tell you how many. Zero.

Then why have Medicare and Medicaid greatly exapnded? It's because this communist government is trying to use the country's modified capitalism with government mandates against them. Eventually, the insurance industries will be priced out by government policy, leading to single-payer, which is ENTIRELY communist.

Not communist if Health Care is a right instead of a privilege which many many many western style democracies believe. But, you keep thinking that way.

Communism is not the same as Socialism. People need to understand that before any meaningful dialogue can be held.

Death panels REALLY make health care a right instead of a privilege. That's why the youngest and the oldest are told to just go and die. It's the exact same measures Hitler used in the Holocaust when trying to determine who was eligible for the labour camps.

Are you enjoying the taste of sand?

Death Panels? Seriously. That was debunked years ago. We keep more people alive longer than any other nation on earth. You are so clueless its beyond comprehension.

Hello?! It's because people were able to pay for keeping themselves alive. You should see the long waiting periods for operations in other countries, how they could come here and buy it because they knew they could get it.

                          Your curtain is wearing out.
