Yeah but their logo, colors, and green and road jerseys are great. Should have gone with the Minnesota Wilderness, but that's now an NAHL team.

Of the names that made it to the final list of candidates, Wild was the least popular with all the people I knew.

One of the local radio show DJs likes to call them the Bear Pigs, because of the logo.

"One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its Black Gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume." Boromir

"Good news! We have a delivery." Professor Farnsworth

That would be the ManBearPigs (South Park reference).

I would have liked the Voyageurs, personally.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Voyageurs had my vote. Throw l'etoile du nord on the shoulders or something.

Fun fact: Minnesota is the only state with a French motto, even though almost none of us have French ancestry. (I do, but very little.)

Voyageurs would have been great. I picked Lumberjacks off the list though.

That would have been great. Although I bet the logo would have been some mad looking guy with a fur cap :eyeroll:
