      Except they really didn't do much. The first offense is 6 games...with a consideration given to mitigating circumstances, which means it can be longer or shorter at Goodell's discretion. The player can also be reinstated after a 2nd offense after 1 year.

      It's better than what it was...but, it's mostly smoke and mirrors.

        And there is plenty of wiggle room on what denotes domestic violence and what doesn't.

        This is an incredibly toothless rule. They do get points for trying though, and for being the first major sport to address this. Also, for a program of education at the college and high school level.

                            Is there video? That would guarantee two games, and the fact she was pregnant might warrant another game or two. With no video who is to say what really happened? I'm sure once McDonald counsels her we'll find out she walked into a door or something.
