Finally saw Inglorious Basterds the other day.

    Very very good.

    Only Tarantino though.

      Watched "Mongol."

Very good, I thought, even with the "artistic license" that usually comes with these types of movies. It was a nice balance of telling the story without words and really only having needed dialogue, instead of having someone say something just to say it.

I believe the continuation of the story comes out this year, and I'll be looking forward to it.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

            Haha that is funny

I love how he brings a high powered rifle but not a compass because he is trying to rough it! I saw a quote from a park preserve guy up near the trail he lived on and it basically said that if Chris had brought a decent map he would have survived. Of course if he had brought a bigger bag of rice or you know, learned how to live in the wilds of Alaska he might have survived too.

And there are bigger d-bags that worship this guy as some sort of cult hero...if I die because I am a moron please dont worship me

In the movie it looked like he had a .22, which I wouldn't call a "high powered rifle"
I'm still not sure how to kill a moose with a .22, maybe shoot it through the eye.
Having a clear conscience just means you have a bad memory or you had a boring weekend.

Well I meant more in comparison to the rest of the crap he brought. I mean the scope alone probably could have bought him enough food not to die like an idiot

I think the Moose died from laughter

Caught Alice in Wonderland yesterday in 3D/Imax and enjoyed it. It didn't blow me away, but it was visually really cool, and if you like Burtons stuff generally, I can't see why you wouldn't dig it....

Saw The Wolfman last night. Pretty much had the theatre to ourselves, other than this one couple that kept coming in and out of the theatre a few times. Thought it was a pretty standard update on an old classic. I like what they did with the Wolfman look, didn't have him become some freakish 10 foot tall monster just because they could film him like that way. Hopkins was great with what he had to work with, along with Hugo Weaving as well. They could have done more with it I think but looks like they stayed pretty close to the original Wolfman story line.

Saw it in 'RealD' 3D this past Saturday, just because I wanted to check out all these new 3D technologies everyone is yapping about. Interesting, but I don't know as that it's worth the extra $3.

Watched "Taken" tonight. Great popcorn flick. 30 minutes of setup/substance/closure, and 60 minutes of Liam Neeson kicking arse and taking names. Perfect.

I was gonna add more, but that about sums it up. Very entertaining, good action movie that isn't so over the top it's ridiculous. See: "Crank," etc.

Hopefully, I'll get Boondock Saints II, but for right now, I'm looking forward to The Darjeeling Limited.
