It's actually been an evergreen topic in the Echo Chamber for a while. If you can stand the stench, just trawl a dozen Freep posts on any given topic and you will read, often verbatim, 90% of the talking points that pop up here among the Neanderati.

I don't know about six years ago, but here is a relatively recent story from Minnesota about some questionable voter registration, reported by the StarTribune, not necessarily known as a right wing rag. What's somewhat interesting about the story is that it was one Democrat vs. another Democrat in these allegations (primary election).

That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

Hemmings set him up. The black community has such notoriously loose morals. Why hasn't Obama spoken out about it?! I'm only asking the question.

Hey, Sanger's own words say what they say, and it's not taken out of context, it's quoted directly from one of her books. Please explain the basis for your claim that it's taken out of context. What context makes it ok to advocate for the extermination of a minority group?

And it's not like it's only one quote from her, there's lot of other similarly offensive quotes, not to mention her associations with the Nazis. It's really ok to say she was awful in certain ways. Not everyone on your side of issues is perfect. Seriously. I have to say this is amusing. Before folks have always said it's just ancient history with Sanger and her horrible views on minorities, handicapped people, and anyone else she viewed as inferior. Maybe it's just by chance that her clinics targeted minority neighborhoods? There really are people in 2014 who are willing to defend her. So much for progressivism.

You do realize it was local black activists who asked Sanger to set up shop there, right?

There is something counter-intuitive in promoting the idea that liberals are using birth control to suppress their own numbers. Birth control has done more to keep conservatives in the electoral game for as long as they have been. If Erica and Theodore Marxist had been having Duggar households for the last 40 years, there wouldn't be a GOP Congressman north of Raleigh today.

Conservatives tend to practice their own form of birth control, which is known as "celibate not by choice" Unless they reproduce asexually, most of them are out of luck. One wonders if that's why they're so angry all the time....

                                Ha!

Police can sometimes conduct warrantless searches under extreme circumstances known as “exigent circumstances.” For example, a passing police officer might overhear someone being beaten inside a home. If he reasonably believe someone was in eminent danger, he could enter without a warrant. Lake County attempted to use the exigent circumstance exception. The exigent circumstance? A water shortage.

The county had argued that the exigent circumstances exception should apply due to the state’s ongoing water crisis and the large amount of water use attributed to marijuana grows. Henderson said the county could easily have obtained a warrant and followed Ordinance No. 2997′s five-day nonsummary abatement procedure to stop the water usage.

The county also argued that it shouldn’t be required to follow that protocol because – and this is particularly rich – it didn’t know how. And learning a new procedure would just be too much work. It would be easier to just short-shrift the Fourth Amendment.
