What's good for Putin is good for Northrop-Grumman. I for one welcome you suckers subsidizing my industry for yet another decade.

Anyone else see 60 minutes last night? Great story on ISIS and the war.

How ****ed up is it that we can't use our Air Base in Turkey for strikes against ISIS? Aren't they in NATO for cripes sake?

Maliki and Turkey are the top two reasons I can think of why this War is a complete waste of time and money.

It was interesting, but it was also Leon Panetta running an ad for Hillary. I highly doubt the WH debate was anywhere near as cut and dried as he suggested.

The last thought the piece generated for me was, "vote Hillary".

I find it interesting that neither Lindsey, nor King, nor McCain thought it important for Obama to have authorization before bombing Syria.

And, I also find it interesting that the Bone Man and McConnell want their states to re-elect them to great positions of power while they spend their current time in office shirking their responsibility.

                      Congress is broken.

Yay! Another war! I'm so excited! Maybe this one can be just as productive as the previous ones.

Sad but true. At least the good news is that bombs are by nature expendable so we need to keep purchasing them. I wonder how China feels about financing another war on terror? I guess they probably like it better than a war on communism.

As you say, the Chinese are investing in the upwards transfer of wealth from American tax payers to the holders of American debt (to be honest, this makes a lot more sense than investing in their own ghost cities' real estate scam). That's what war is for -- privatized credits balanced against socialized debits. It's a gabelle, where the tax is future debt piled on top of middle class children and grandchildren. The investor class gets rich off the immediate influx of cash and when things get tough they go off-shore.

Welcome to post-1980 America, just like Jude Wanniski drew it up.

I've read reports that China supports taking action against ISIS. If there's one thing China likes, it's obeying state authority, which ISIS does not do. The second thing China likes is oil, which ISIS could disrupt the supply if they're permitted to get large enough.
