Yes, but what are the odds that an accident in Russia would be caused by alcohol?

More war today. Nothing gained by it.

They have a blurry photo of something in the water east of Stockholm. Russians say it's a Danish sub. Danes say their sub is tied up at Estonia.

I'd guess a Kilo class boat was just hanging around taking photos of the Swedish bikini team.

I was thinking it was Norway, but you're right, Israel offered more than anyone expected them to, almost everything the Palestinians wanted, yet Arafat walked awy from the deal. That was the best chance to reach a deal between the sides ever I believe. It plays strongly into the narrative that at least some Palestinians don't want a peace deal and will never accept anything Israel puts on the table.

In important part of their objective, though, is to throw shat out there so they are perceived as a menace to the western world to keep western gubmints throwing shat back at the muslim world. Most of those young men have known nothing but war and anger, and more anger is like a tool to them. That's why lopping off heads on camera is such a favored practice.

    Or maybe not.

ISIS could be soon taking its terror fight to the sky, after a report that former Iraqi pilots are training Islamic militants to fly captured Syrian war planes.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights group says some ex-Iraqi air force pilots are training members of ISIS to fly three warplanes—believed to be MiG-21 and MiG-23 jets-- captured from air bases in Syria.

politely disagree: the first and most important point that Israel wants is for its neighbors to stop trying to kill Israelis. Palestinians still refuse to acknowledge Israel's right to exist and it is still their explicitly-professed goal to drive Israel out of the Middle East entirely.

No deal will ever be possible until that objective changes.
