So, given that the US refusal to fight the Iraqi's war for them has led to the downfall of competely corrupt and ineffectual Prime Minister Malaki stepping down, will long time neo-con dinosaurs like McCain and co go to their usual spots on the Sunday talk show circuit and give Obama credit where its due, or are the bent that he engineered their conservative pal Malaki getting sh !tcanned.

Which begs the question why the ******** was running Iraq while we were still there? Oh, that's right they voted for him. And what does that mean? That means that this BS doctrine of spreading democracy is the stinkiest pile of BS ever propagated by our government.

I know it's fallen out of the news lately....how's that twitter campaign to rescue those schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haran in Nigeria working out?

Sounds like Maliki was almost as big as failure as Dubya. Guess that's what they meant by "Iraq the Model."

Well argued. It contains exactly why this will not happen:

Congress must be forced to debate and vote on this war, first, so we can hold them accountable for what is to come. Second, so we can force them to come to consensus on just what kind of outcome in this region is acceptable, and attainable, and at what cost.
Congress is afraid of the accountability, and is intellectually and morally unprepared for a sophisticated discussion of scope and aims. Presidents go to war without a formal declaration and vote by Congress because that's the way Congress wants it.

                              Three days? That's funny.

I'd say 8-12 hours would lead to anarchy and a complete breakdown in society.
