Her face was also completely fabricated, although in her case she had a valid reason.

btw when I mentioned Sinatra I should have extended the comment to the Rat Pack who would have curb stomped the Brat Pack, ******ed on them and drove off in their cars.

That would be a great point if it had anything to do with this discussion.

"The insectoid women of today are nearer to repulsive than attractive. The women of that era were actually women."

And I again refer you to the list of women of yore who had plenty of work done.

I think that was more directed at the skinny women of today; ones that don't have curves. Not directed at any sort of plastic surgery.

And I totally agree about the Rat Pack. Those guys....hooboy.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Yeah, I meant the emaciati. I well know that entertainment beauty is always a cheat; I just object to the current repellent standard of beauty.

A woman has got to have a little meat on her bones. A little swerve with the curves helps, too.

And should not need a ton of ink on her exposed body parts or metal dangling from a ton of piercings. It might be attractive to some (but not me). But then again, my career has had me repairing and removing these things from those who have had regrets about them or problems with them. Beauty is simply in the eye of the beholder and it is near impossible to always describe what each individual finds attractive. My original comment was about Ekberg was simply that she just so over the top, she was like Earth Mother in my young eyes.

I think this is just our age (I agree it's a deal breaker turn-off). The ubiquity of tramp stamps and piercings for women under 40 is God's way of saying, "since you can't have them, I'll throw you a bone and help you not want them."

I think our age is a big part of it. In my case, add in the fact that I have had to also fix many of the damages that these adornments have caused. i suppose when you are 20 you never think about how this stuff will look as you age and the skin changes.

Tattoos and piercings are like smoking. They multiply whatever the prior sexual desirability was by 0. End of story. The person might still be visually interesting, even stunning, but they move out of the To Do box into some other ungendered category. They become, essentially, a corpse.
