As a franchise-life-long Islanders fan, the answer is indisputably yes. As "dirty" as a goalie can be, that is. If you got near his crease he'd be physical and wasn't above using his stick. Of course that also led him to being a magnet for cementheads on opposing teams, and this was all against the backdrop of a much tougher NHL, so he both gave and received more abuse than most goalies.Originally posted by Bob Gray View PostCornell University
