      This is kind of how I feel about the Flyers too, though I take it to the level of "would rather '87 Flyers won the Cup than '87 Oilers".

      Hexy was a thug, but if he had been a Wings goalie, I tend to think that the odds are pretty good Detroit would've ended the Cup drought several years before they did (obvious bias). In his prime, he was light years better than *ing Cheveldae, Stefan, or Hanlon.

              How could anyone possibly dislike Billy Smith? He was the first goalie to ever get credited with a goal in the NHL.

              Of course, Brodeur is the all-time leader in goals by goalies, but he's a Devil and should be despised as such.
