Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Donna Douglas gone at 81-whoever is old enough, must have been in love will Ellie May Clampett. Also, starred in my favorite Twilight Zone episode-"The Eye of the Beholder" as the incurably ugly girl behind the bandages.

Elly May Clampett was one of the best characters ever on TV.

I love the story about how she went to LA to be an actress and did her best to lose her Louisiana accent, only to end up playing Elly May.
