In an effort to needle who are on the Cosmos bandwagon, the attendance for their last game was... 4130! In contrast, Chivas USA had 7499.

The Cosmos are totes going to show that MLS is doing things wrong and that the power of the Cosmos brand is too powerful to ignore! Superclub!

Second. But since their management and mouthpieces, err fans, suggest that they are a big club with a powerful, worldwide brand and history that will fill stands and generate enough revenue to dominate soccer in this country, it doesn't look good.

tl;dr They talked a lot of * and think their bigger than they are, so it's funny!

And given that their current stadium sits just under 12,000, and they're not even filling half of that. They better hope that NYC wants to take another crack at hosting another Olympics and would see that their new stadium proposal would be useful for it.

As far as BIG CLUBS go, I don't mind Liverpool too much. In fact, I'd rather they win a title than United, Chelsea or City, so I've been pulling for them to close it out. But even with that in mind, I can't help but enjoy the schadenfreude on display with that level of a ball-busting loss to Crystal Palace after being up 3-0.

Multiple fans ejected after approaching the directors box and providing verbal abuse. Almost no noise for the game itself.

Meanwhile, inept Cardiff, staring relegation in the face, and given the rare opportunity on the road to turn the home fans against the home side, have mustered nothing.

                    Fascinating.
Yep, Newcastle hasn't always been bad but the last few years have been brutal!

I 'm a liverpool fan and I don't think anyone really expected them to do as well as they did this year. A lot of angst for sure after that game.!

There was a very interesting article recently interviewing Klinnsman about the US amateur soccer scene. I'll post a link if I find it.

So... I guess at this point, Liverpool fans must need to have a lot of faith in West Ham.

                      Stranger things have happened.

It doesn't seem to be clear from this article whether the B teams would be playing as part of the league pyramid (as is the case in Spain; Barcelona B are high enough in the Liga Adelante table that they would be qualified for the promotion playoffs if they weren't ineligible), or if the B League would be a special league just for Premier League B teams. If it's the latter, I'm not sure how it would be any better for player development than the Premier Reserve League that they got rid of a couple years ago because it wasn't accomplishing what it was supposed to.

I thought the article mentioned B teams would be eligible for promotion up to a certain level?
