    Tonight was mostly spent with Wiser's 18yo... had several. Very nice.

    Also sprinkled in were Ron Zacapa, Cockspur & Kirk & Sweeney for rums and Pine Creek & Woodford Reserve Double Oaked (neat, believe it or not) for whiskeys.

    Dang but I had a few cocktails tonight while thoroughly enjoying the Hawks game and company that stayed long after.

    Me and another dad lost to our boys in pool (2-1) when my cocky kid sunk the 8 with a behind the back look at me I'm young and you're old shot.

            I'm not much of a beer guy. Decided to pick up a six pack. Deschutes mirror pond pale ale. It's ok.

              Ugly Dog Vokda (local product), used to spike Arizona Arnold Palmer, thereby making a "John Daly". Not bad, cheaper than most whiskeys I would consider drinkable nowadays (hi, I'm a snob ).

                  Arbor Brewing Co. Espresso Love. It's their breakfast stout that I somehow found at Meijer. Not as good as Founder's Breakfast Stout, but for tonight, I'll take it.

                        Couldn't tell you. It was the first I saw of it, though. A friend e-mailed me to say that his girlfriend had gotten the mold for him.

                          Just an FYI, 45th Parallel vodka won a double gold this year at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

                          I knew it had to be well-received if even I was interested in buying a bottle. I typically don't drink vodkas.

                            Having a clear conscience just means you have a bad memory or you had a boring weekend.

                                Oh well. It was my cousin's beer of choice (he was a great guy, but he had a terrible taste for beer ), so I'm having one in his honor.
