In terms of visuals, I'm still wondering what the hell I just watched. Kept asking myself if I was on an acid trip.

However, I will be quoting it for a long, long time. "I only work in black... and sometimes, very, very dark grey."

It's out of print and the American version had some cuts, so not only do you have to find a used or pirated version, you want the euro release.

Took me a bit, but I found it for reasonable on eBay and eventually also found it on torrent.

If you have a file transfer or ftp, I counld get the torrent to you to surprise them with...

    Think it's like 750 mb.
Well, I should clarify we didn't search for it on TV. We know how rare it is and have gone through that entire process of obtaining it. We searched for the DVD we burned from a pirated version. Unfortunately it was misplaced, and although it's still on the computer we couldn't find the HDMI adapter for the TV so we just said screw it and played some cribbage.

    Polar Express

My younger son got it in his stocking and none of us had seen it.

The cgi is dated, but I liked it quite a bit as did he and the wife. Made good use of the surround and big screen too.

My wife and I have been Watching The Ref with Kevin Spacey and Dennis Leary as our Christmas movie for a number of years now. Cracks us up every time.

I wouldn't put the word "incredibly" in there, but yes it isn't absolutely amazing. Just a tradition for me. Plus, I totally see myself slowly becoming the father.

Quite possibly my favorite Christmas show/movie and favorite Muppet anything.

    So... perfect.
