This might be intersting. But not by much.

I mean, I guess it's not that intriguing if you don't think a kicker committing sexual assault, at worst rape, with the possibility of the star lineman threatening the girl, then allowing them to play for four years until their eligibility is up before expelling one is an interesting tale. A muscle pull and "family matters" as Hoke called it, is not getting expelled for sexual misconduct.

I'm still trying to grasp what the point of this really is... What exactly is the end game? I mean, it seems like it would open up "Student" Athletes to more problems than it's worth...

I'm still trying to grasp what the point of this really is... What exactly is the end game? I mean, it seems like it would open up "Student" Athletes to more problems than it's worth...

I think it's a huge deal. That said, it will be struck down in the labor or appeals courts. Students are not employees.

This, however, could change a whole lot of things. Not sure why it's not a much bigger deal.

FWIW, the Columbus Dispatch reports that Braxton Miller is returning for his senior season, citing Miller's Dad as the source.

Personally this doesn't surprise me in the least. But I presume the fact it's official will be of interest to those involved with the B1G East Division. (It's really nice not to have to worry about the two "L words" anymore.)
