Like I say regarding pro wrestling, it doesn't mean that the participants are not talented athletes, but the events are not sports.

Auto racing is objective, it's just stupid.
I understand you're just stating your opinion, but where does it say that the events in the Olympic Games need to be "sports", by whatever definition you use? I don't mind watching gymnastics or figure skating, for reasons that have been stated -- I know how hard it is --, but even if I didn't, it seems to me to be a small price to pay to enable me to see stuff that I really want to see, like x-country skiing and rowing, that I might not get to watch if gymnastics and figure skating weren't paying the freight. It's easy enough to do other things (like posting here) when things I'm not as interested in are being telecast.

          You and me both Doc.

Friend was telling me figure skating just isn't the same without Katerina. I'm thinking it's not all bad these days.

This Austrian slalom skier Anna Fenninger is pretty hot.

Maybe Torah Bright for the rebound?

Sorry haven't tracked down any good image links yet.

I'm thinking Canuck skater Kaetlyn Osmond is pretty sufficient.

Brooky-you're a bit late. i was in love with her first from the earliest events last week. I posted her name as my #1 choice-even though i am old enough to be her grandfather. I don't think I ever watched a snow board event with the same intensity ever before.

If that "intensity" lasts for more than four hours, be sure to call a doctor. Oh, wait. . .

In my defense I was more intent on following her live...on demand replay...internet etc. than posting in a timely fashion. I have my priorities Doc. You have good taste...
