I'm guessing that curling will be in the wee hours of the morning in 2014.

Win or lose, the Russian hockey team can go to hell. Hope they embarass the home crowd.

Yea, most events will be held "overnight" here in the US... Sochi is 9 hours ahead of the East Coast... Assuming that stuff will get going around 9am local time, that means that most events will be between Midnight and 6am... Skating and "prime" hockey games will probably be between 9am and Noon EST here...

Pretty much the worst time difference for being in the US... Hopefully NBC has learned their lesson and will have crap live for those of us that want to watch it... With the internet, I'm not even going to try and avoid things till primetime here... Spoilers will be unavoidable

I think it'd be great if he's at the Olympics. It lets every guy with a beer gut and a baseball cap believe that there's hope for a gold medal and Olympic glory
