Pats blowing leads against the Colts, and Giants (twice, once with a perfect freaking season on the line). Celtics choking against LA. Bruins ****ing away the #1 seed in 2009, and underachieving last year when had they gotten past Washington, they would've had something like a 13-1 record against the rest of the field. Red Sox almost pulling the comeback against TB in 2008, and imploding in 2011.
Throw out the Sox and B's failings there, because there was no guarantee, but the Pats could've won another 3 Rings, and the Celts with an additional one.
Echoing what others have said though, I'm not complaining. It's been a hell of a ride. I've seen all of my teams win Titles in the past decade. Anything else is gravy. Will I be sad if the Bruins lose? Yep. You don't get many chances at multiple Cups...but they've won once. That's all I really needed. I don't hate Chicago and actually really like the Hawks.UNH Wildcat Hockey

5-0 for a regulation win.
4-1 for an OT win.
3-2 for shootout win.
I'm rarely at Wild games, but when I am, I root for a shootout. Even if afterwards I think it was stupid.

A SO is still OT. Just in different form.
The expanded points are already *ing with team points records. Why screw it up more?Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Reminds me of an old joke, a proper New England lady is vacationing in Central or South America several decades ago, and sees a big crowd going to the local stadium. She asks, "what's going on?" "That's the bullfight" she is told. "it is our favorite sport."
"Ugh, isn't that revolting?" she asks. "No, that's our second-favorite sport" comes the reply."Hope is a good thing; maybe the best of things."

You simply can't appreciate a title as much if you don't suffer through a lot of failure beforehand. To put it another way, if MNS ever gets any, he'll appreciate the experience on a far deeper level than the rest of us did when it was our first time, simply because he's gone far longer and failed far more than we ever did.
