I assume that Fletcher is your GM?
I'm sure that everyone will love Cooke the first time he takes a run at one of the Sedins or Hossa, etc, etc...

The way I see it, the likelihood that Cooke ends Parise's career - or Suter's career - just went down by like 90%.

Lolololol:
My team possibly "ruined" hockey, but we never had Matt Cooke on the roster.

I hope Cooke still gets booed at Minnesota. What a stupid signing.

By no means do I love Iginla, but by all accounts he's a better fit with Boston than Pittsburgh. I also like the fact he's younger than Jagr and Alfredsson. Eriksson is also a very good all around forward and only 27. Trading Seguin might hurt somewhere down the line but I really do think the Bruins will be better next year with Iginla and Eriksson than if they kept Seguin. To me, the Bruins still look like a team that can compete for the Cup next year. This is more aggressive than we're used to seeing from Chiarelli, perhaps realizing the small window remaining with Chara.
