Re: My Stanley Cup Runneth Over

I was ****ed when I first heard that the Wild signed Cooke, but after thinking about it, it does make sense. They replace Clutterbuck with a player that, besides the overrated fan-favorite factor, is a better player, that can do more. As long as he doesn't go revert back to complete d-bag mode, I think it will be a good move. The Setoguchi thing is disappointing, because I think most of us, Wild fans, expected more from him when he came over from San Jose, but it just hasn't materialized. At this point, with younger, cheaper options coming up, they had to move him. The most annoying/disappointing part of this whole offseason is that they weren't able dump that slug Heatley's contract.

Wait, hold on, the Leafs gave Clarkson HOW MUCH MONEY? For a 29-year-old thug with one and a half good seasons to his name? No wonder they never win anything.

Certainly what I'm hoping for. Just don't wanna see Handzus and the sled that he pulls around out there on the 2nd.

    Is that interview online?

    Edit: Found it. http://www.kfan.com/player/?station=...l&mid=23433456

Even though I'd still like them to address the #2 center...

Oh well. We've won 2 Cups without one, so what do I (or the rest of the fans) know?

The #2 center is the PC position, just plug-n-play.

The usual response when somebody puts foot in mouth on Twitter -- "My account was hacked."

Strictly concerning production on the ice, no. Could be an issue with locker room cohesion though. We'll see.
