Have you been to a gay wedding? They are extravagant! Do you know how much gay marriage will stimulate the economy?

Those will be offset by lesbian weddings. Those chicks would keep costs down on their side.

not necessarily, there is always parthenogenesis.

Technically you only need a spermatazoa, an ovum, and a place to grow them.

My high school class will tell you that all you need is a test tube. This was the response I got when we were discussing how Mary got pregnant with Jesus. (Of course there were no test tubes back then but that is a minor detail)

For all we know, there could have been modern technology back then, and it was destroyed by the Emperor's orders during the Middle Ages. Look what happened at the end of Battlestar Galactica.

So now it has screen door factories AND gay marriage. They've got it all.

I'm glad that it's happening through the legislative process rather than through the courts. It'll quell activist court arguments, and it will allow the voting public the chance to either affirm or decry the law come 2014 in a real, impacting manner.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to St. Clown again. Well put.

Nothing new at all as far as that is concerned.

As far as children with same-sex parents, it actually probably makes it more difficult for them to receive subsidized loans and grants as their parent will no longer be considered a single income, single parent.

As soon as you turn 24 (I believe) your parent's income is no longer included in the equation anyway.
