I suspect Obama is releasing his internalized hatred inflicted on him and his family by racism from 30,000 feet to the easy targets on the ground in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Yes we can!

Re: NPR On Point Tonight (12/3):
To answer the question of "Is drone strike killing war crime?" first thing I would do is to look for the definition of "war crime."
According to this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_crime#Definition)
"War Crimes are those serious violations of the rules of customary and treaty law concerning international humanitarian law that have become accepted as criminal offences for which there is individual responsibility. Colloquial definitions of war crime include violations of established protections of the laws of war, but also include failures to adhere to norms of procedure and rules of battle, such as attacking those displaying a peaceful flag of truce, or using that same flag as a ruse of war to mount an attack."
So the key point of the definition here is "violations of established protections of the laws of war."
Then the question would become - "Does drone strike killing violate the laws of war?"
More research is needed here.
