    People actually thought he falls under the libertarian paradigm? He was only brought in to motivate the conservative base.

    Didn't know anything about this guy. But he appears more likely to siphon from Romney even as his charts show him to be somewhat 'liberal'.

    That won't help unless the open primary is IRV.

    I would personally like to see the result of California's open primary.

    IMHO, with that, it would allow a lot of room for options- since Left communities and Right communities could be more specific, center can be more bland, etc.

    Let us all have open elections. First round, top 2, unless nobody clears 40%, then a 3 way final. Regardless of party.
