I did. kinda like asking Terry Bradshaw how to spell 'Cat' and then spotting the C & the T.
As far as last night- it was slapstick after jumping out in the lead. At least they salvaged the game for Fister who can only be faulted for giving up the bomb.
On the previous thread, the question was asked what to do with Anibal, Coke and Young. 1) Do not resign (Turner and the other prospect may still amount to something, what a waste) 2) Sign another lefty reliever. If you can't get out the guys you are specifically brought in to get out, then you need to go.The problem is, the WHOLE bullpen is in that position. 3) The outfield may not be as crowded as you think. Berry is coming back to earth and needs to work on his defense, Dirks is playing like a starter but is an average outfielder, Jackson is secure as long as he doesn't tank like last season, but Boesch isn't. I say flip a coin in spring training between Young and Boesch, even though Young will be a F.A. There is also the Castelanos move to LF that will be coming soon. If Young is inconsistent the rest of the season, he will have played his way out of Detroit, especially since he is a defensive liability.
Beat the Twins today and then go home to enjoy a nine game homestand with three days off in between. If they don't make hay during that time, it will be over, IMO. 13 of the next 19 will be on the road after that, leaving 15 games left in the season, but none remaining with the Sox.
1-0 Tigers through 1 1/2 innings. 30 on the year for Cabrera.

Rod and Mario are talking about a guy with a 5.54 ERA and 27 bombs allowed, and they're highlighting his lack of run support.
I didn't realize Nate Robertson was in an Oriole uniform.
You watch. This guy is going to throw a 4-hitter.
2 through 4 so far.

Wow, the initial call on the field was good even though it looked wrong, and now it's overturned. Like Mario and Rod said, where was this when Galarraga was pitching?

Okay. Seriously. If we were still playing in Tiger Stadium, that moon shot would have landed in the upper deck of the center field bleachers. That was ridiculous.

ALERT!
Benoit just made it through an inning without letting one leave the stadium.
