I'll ask you this: You want to take your chances with Cabrera or Fielder? I roll the dice with Fielder.
maybe, but it puts another guy on base and fielder has over 100 rbi's. certainly you have a point, but I would pitch to him depending on the situation. and I doubt, with the arms in the outfield, that berry scores from first.

and you steal so maybe you can score on a single. You are banking that they will pitch to him though, and it is somewhat iffy but really fielder is hitting 300 so do you really want to walk CABRERA.

I am not diggin' Josh Reddick's hair.

Go Nats! [obligatory rooting announcement so as not to jinx it for the Tigers]

Jesus Christ on a cracker. Why the hell do you steal 2nd with Cabrera in the batters box? Now there's no reason to pitch to Cabrera.

Hammer, he's ruined that kid. I hope Avisail lives up to the hype because Boesch is the new Inge or Raburn.

Boesch must be hurt.. or is this another example of how Leyland over-analyzes? (I assume Oakland will use mostly LH starters.)

I wonder if he will be traded now.

Well, yes... a little unfair how it is configured pairing wild card teams that may have better records versus some division winners against each other in a one game playoff. I could hardly contain the tears when Texas lost to Baltimore... but wished that Atlanta, as much as that pains me, wouldn't have choked against the Cards. Hopefully Scarlet's Nats can kill baseball's version of the cockroach.

I fired comcast today. I went over to Dish and saved about 50 dollars per month after the first year. (the first year I saved more.) the only channel I will miss out on is nbc sports network. So all those UNO games are out now.I got tired of being ripped off.

Yep: me, too. I use it just barely enough to justify the cost.

I'm guessing that there is going to be a lot of noise when hundreds of thousands of people wake up on Sunday and realize they can't watch the Tigers game because they only have basic cable.
